About Me

I am an Amercian College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer and also hold a certification in Sports Nutrition through the American Aerobic Association International.  I have a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Minnesota and have been involved in the Fitness Industry for over 2 years.

I am 28 years old and currently live an hour southwest of Chicago. I have an amazing, supportive husband who always encourages me to set my goals high and accept nothing but the best. He is truly my rock, without his love and support I would not hold the certifications I hold today, nor would I have my own website/business. We are expecting our first child, June 2nd 2012 and are very anxious for his/her arrival.

I have always been very involved in working out, but looking back I wouldn’t say that I always went about achieving my fitness goals in a healthy manner. I started my true health and fitness journey in 2008 when I picked up my first subscription to the Robert Kennedy Women’s Fitness OXYGEN magazine.  The contents of the magazine were very educational and the women showcased were an inspirational. I took what I learned about nutrition and exercise from this magazine and applied it to my workouts at the Health Club and started seeing results faster and no longer felt as if I was starving myself to achieve my goals.

In February of 2010 I received a position at a Health Club in Mays Landing, NJ as a Fitness Coach and set my goal to gain the knowledge to inspire other people to achieve their goals in a safe, healthy manner. Shortly after I was hired as a Fitness Coach I signed up for my very first Personal Trainer Certification. “My personal goal was to gain the knowledge to inspire other people to achieve their goals in a safe, healthy manner.”After countless hours of studying and applying my knowledge to hands on experiences I earned my Personal Training Certification in the Spring of 2010.   I have trained and have gained amazing relationships with 26 amazing men and women over the past two years and have guided them through their journey to reach their health and fitness goals.

I have a passion for educating people on ways to improve their quality of life through a positive attitude, believing in yourself, nutrition, and exercise. These four components are key when setting out to achieve your dreams.

Attitude is crucial
If you’re ever to succeed
Don’t give up and know your dreams
Will give you what you need

To achieve you must believe
You are destined not to fail
Hold on to your precious dreams
Until the day that you prevail
